Melanie has recently joined the Skufca Law team as receptionist and legal assistant. Seated at the front desk, she is responsible for taking care of all prospective and new clients as well as assisting with other legal and administrative tasks at the firm.
Melanie was born in Miami, Florida to the parents of Peruvian immigrants. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She moved to Harrisburg, North Carolina where she graduated high school Summa Cum Laude in 2017.
Over the past 5 years, Melanie has worked in the Charlotte Latin-American community at non-profits and law firms to help those in need. Being the daughter of immigrants, Melanie has always understood the importance of hard work and ensures that clients are always treated with respect and kindness.
When she is not working, Melanie enjoys doing her makeup to go out dancing with friends, cooking traditional Peruvian food with her family, and playing with her crusty, white dog Mia.
