Linda focuses her practice on civil litigation and has extensive experience in handling a variety of disputes including commercial litigation, construction law, product liability law, employment law, insurance litigation and family law. Prior to joining Skufca Law, Linda was a partner with Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough where she practiced law throughout both North and South Carolina. Linda also spent five years working for a federal judge in Charlotte where she gained invaluable experience and insight into all aspects of the court process.
Linda has experience handling all aspects of litigation from the initial evaluation through the final resolution. As an advocate for her clients, she is able to resolve disputes through negotiation and settlement as well as in the courtroom. Her trial experience ranges from garden variety tort cases to more complicated business matters.
Linda graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University School of Law where she was on the law review. She is active in numerous community organizations including the Parkinson’s Association of the Carolinas where she served as Chair of the Board of Directors. She also serves as a Custody Advocate for the Council for Children’s Rights.
