Sarah focuses primarily on family law matters and uses creative settlement skills every day to advocate for the best outcome for her clients. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic allows her to provide the best representation for her clients. Sarah effectively communicates with her clients through every step of the process. Sarah’s previous cases have included child custody, child support, post-separation support/alimony, and equitable distribution involving assets up to 10 million.
Sarah graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University and attended Campbell University School of Law. There, she found her passion, as a member of the Negotiation Team competing in American Bar Association regional competitions. The Negotiation Team allowed Sarah to structure creative settlements that would be beneficial to both parties. For her work on the team, Sarah was awarded the Order of Old Kivett. During law school she learned just how important it is to give all of your energy and attention to the task at hand while being open to growth and improvement. In addition, Sarah interned with U.S. Magistrate Judge Robert B. Jones of United States District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina.
In her spare time, Sarah likes to spend as much time outside as possible by going for runs, cheering on the Demon Deacons, or just exploring the Charlotte area. When she is in her hometown of Wilmington, you can find her walking the family rescue dog at Wrightsville Beach or paddleboarding in the Intracoastal waterways!
