As everything else in 2020, the 7th Annual South End Shuffle 5K & Mile Run did not follow the plan….it still happened though, and it was still great! Thanks to Skufca Law’s persistence, race management company Start2Finish’s creativity, and the support of long-time and new sponsors, we were still able to put on an event to be proud of; and that gave our participants the joy of being part of one of the few in-person races in the Charlotte area in 2020. Most important, it allowed our law firm to fulfill out commitment to our key partner and beneficiary, The Purple Promise to End Melanoma, our volunteer partners RunningWorks, and to further our support of various small local businesses affected by COVID-19.
We missed being in South End, we missed all the spectators, the excitement of starting the race with 1000 fellow runners, and our fun vendors at the finish. But we plan on being back in South End in 2021, so save the date for Saturday, August 28th for the 8th Annual South End Shuffle 5K & Mile Run!
