June Update
We’re excited to share a very early sneak peek of the construction of our new office! Being a Historic Commercial building in South End, and most recently the home of a motorcycle repair shop, it has been full of surprises. Removal of the wood lap siding uncovered painted signage of an insulation company that occupied the original part of the building. There are actually two buildings joined together to become one. We have not only learned a lot about the building since starting this project, but have also faced unique challenges in working with the Charlotte Historical District to finalize plans to preserve the history of the structure in the community while bringing new life to the property which will serve as our law office and provide an opportunity for two other businesses to join us as tenants in the unique “South of Summit” building!
Ground Breaking
We have some exciting news to share! The new Skufca Law office is currently under construction and will be ready for us to move in later this year! We aren't moving far, in fact our new office is just around the corner, but we are thrilled to see the remodeled historic building in the heart of South End become our new home. With the help of our clients and friends at JD Goodrum Company, Andrew Roby, and RBA Group architecture, this former custom motorcycle shop is being converted into law offices, providing a new and much improved space for our firm and additional tenants.
